Why throw these things into the garbage when Score This!!! can
recycle them for you? We figured we are at many events a year and what
better way to help the environment and others by collecting all of the
following: plastic bottles, old cell phones, boots, shoes, sneakers, gently warn
winter clothing, toner and printer cartridges and small electronic devices
 |
Plastic Bottles - We watch thousands of plastic bottle a year at events
get thrown in the general garbage and land filled. We at
Score This!!! will have a container, whether it be a truck bed
or garbage bag, at events so we can recycle them for
you. |
 |
Old Cell Phones - We have teamed up with
the American Red Cross of Yates County and started collecting
old cell phones in 2008. Last year we collected 19
phones total at the Keuka Lake Tri and the Clark Companies A
Tri in the Buff. This is a fund raising effort in which
the Red Cross receives money from the recycler who in turn
retrieves the precious metals as well as the harmful metals.
