How to
score!!! - updated for 2007
Be a part of the Score This!!!
Multisport Series for 2007. The goal of the series is to
find out who is the best multisport athlete within the area
while competing in duathlon and triathlon. All it takes
to participate within the Score This!!! Multisport Series is
to register for 4 of the 6 races. Whether you decide that you
want to participate in the Intermediate or Sprint Triathlon at
the A Tri in the Buff or the
Fall Frolic. Make your choice. Here is how it
works. Each event will start with a base maximum points
of 500.
If the event is weighted, multiply
your points by the weighting factor.
| Ex. Argh!!! 20K TT 1st Place=500
2nd Place=499
3rd Place=498 |
Ex. A Tri in the Buff Inter. 1st
Place=500 x 1.2 = 600
2nd Place=499 x 1.2 = 598.8
3rd Place=498 x 1.2 = 597.6 |
At the end of the season we will determine who is the BEST
multisport athlete from the points that you have obtained as
long as you have competed in 4 events. Choose your events
based on participation or how well you think you will place
overall in a specific race. Plan your strategy early and
get in before you get shut out!!!
All kids will receive a
finishers medal at the completion of each race. A parent or
guardian must be present to sign a waiver the day of the event.
All athletes who register for
4
races will be invited to the awards banquet.
Awards for the
series will awarded at the series banquet on
Sunday, October
14th at 4pm. The hosting restaurant will be
Rizzo's Bachetti Amherst, NY.
