Sprint Triathlon Course

The one loop swim starts on the natural sand beach on Lake Erie. The course is expected to be a rectangular loop (depending on wind and surface chop). The water temperature is typically in the 60s to low 70s. Wetsuits will be allowed.
The swim is a wave start. Check the website approximately one week before the race for exact wave start times.
After completing the lap and exiting the water there is a short climb up the ramp before you enter transition.
BE SURE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE EYEGLASS TABLE LOCATED ON THE BEACH AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RAMP!
This wave is so athletes who normally finish in the top 5 overall can race head to head. To be eligible for this wave you must have finished in the top 5 in any of the Score This!!! Multisport Series races in the last five years. They will be eligible for overall awards, but not age group. You will be added back into the score for series points only.

The running surface of this course is a mix of grass and pavement. It is located entirely within Evangola State Park. There will be three aid stations approximately 1 mile apart with water and HEED. This gives athletes the option to hydrate 3 times on the course.
