The one loop swim starts on the natural sand beach on Lake Erie. The course is expected to be a triangular loop (depending on wind and surface chop). The water temperature is typically in the 60s to low 70s. Wetsuits will be allowed.
The swim is a wave start. Check the website approximately one week before the race for exact wave start times.
After completing the lap and exiting the water there is a short run before you enter transition.
BE SURE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE EYEGLASS TABLE LOCATED ON THE BEACH AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RAMP!

This scenic run takes you along the shores of Lake Erie, onto the pier and past Memorial Park. There will be two aid stations giving you the option to hydrate 4 times on the course. Aid Stations are stocked with water and Heed.
